They discussed ways to strengthen relations in various fields, stressing their commitment to furthering coordination and consultation between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

On regional developments, Judeh highlighted efforts exerted to bring back the Palestinians and the Israelis to peace negotiations, stressing the importance of relaunching serious and effective negotiations that lead to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, within pre-1967 lines. Judeh highlighted the mounting burden on the Kingdom as a result of the continued influx of Syrian refugees for over more than three years now, noting that the international community should shoulder its responsibility in this regard.

The two diplomats stressed the importance of combining all efforts to confront terrorism, which is threatening the region and the world, according to Petra.
