Fayez meets Romanian president

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday delivered the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah to Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, stressing the depth of bilateral relations and a desire to increase them, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During a meeting with Fayez and his delegation, Iohannis commended the high level of bilateral relations.

Fayez also discussed regional developments and the importance of urging Israel to accept a two-state based solution with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu. He also met separately with members of the Jordanian-Romanian parliamentary friendship committee and members of the foreign affairs committee in the Romanian parliament, discussing efforts to combat terrorism and cooperation in parliamentary, economic and tourism fields.
