AMMAN — The Amman Court of Appeal on Monday received five objections contesting the results of the September 20 parliamentary elections.
Court president, Judge Qasem Momani, said that two contests were lodged challenging the results of Amman’s 1st District and two contesting the Central Badia District results, while the fifth contested the results in the Karak District, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Meanwhile, the court held a hearing on Monday to look into three previous contestations filed against the results of the Central Badia District, and adjourned the session to Tuesday to continue examining the objections, Petra added.
