Dutch minister praises Jordan’s role in dealing with humanitarian crises

AMMAN — The Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Sigrid Kaag on Saturday praised Jordan’s role in dealing with the humanitarian crises in the region, particularly the Syrian refugee crisis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister, during a meeting organised by the Abdul Hameed Shoman Cultural Forum in cooperation with the Dutch embassy, said that Jordan is a beacon of stability and peace.
She also highlighted the new Dutch policies and priorities of development, youth employment and the equality of opportunities for women and men.
Kaag said that she seeks to exchange ideas with Jordanian youth about the challenges and opportunities in Jordan, pointing out the importance of focusing on pioneering minds and supporting the emerging businesses in order to achieve great success in the near future.
