Dubai ruler welcomes King on Twitter

AMMAN — Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, on Sunday said that His Majesty King Abdullah is the closest leader to his people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.

”We welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II on Twitter, the leader closest to his people and most effective in the events around him,” in a tweet on his personal account, Petra reported.

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday launched a personal Twitter account. “This is Abdullah Bin Al Hussein, a father and a proud Jordanian.
