Culture Ministry, Shoman foundation sign library project agreement

AMMAN — The Ministry of Culture and the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) on Tuesday signed an agreement to implement the eighth cycle of the Jordanian family library project for 2014.
Under the agreement, the AHSF will present JD10,000 to the ministry to assist with printing costs.
The project, which started in 2006, seeks to provide Jordanians with books at affordable prices to disseminate knowledge and to ensure reading becomes an everyday part of life.
