AMMAN — The Central Traffic Department will start implementing the amendment to the by-law governing drivers and registering and licensing vehicle fees as of Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.

According to the by-law, the fee for the ownership transfer of vehicles with an engine capacity of 1500 cubic centimetres (cc) and up to 10 years old will be JD50, while it will be JD40 for those over 10 years old.

Engines between 1500cc and 2000cc are subject to JD100 in ownership transfer fees if under 10 years old and JD80 if over 10 years. For vehicles between 2000cc and 3000cc, the fee will be JD400 for those up to 10 years old and JD120 if over 10 years.
