AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday, upon recommendations from Prime Minister and Minister of Bisher Al Khasawneh, decided to reinstate nine teachers who had been referred to provisional retirement.
Khasawneh directed Education Minister Wajih Owais to continue considering similar cases of teachers who were referred to provisional retirement and those whose conditions were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Council of Ministers also approved a draft execution law, which aims at achieving balance between creditors and debtors in a way that satisfies all parties and limits imprisonments in some cases that can result in negative social effects.
