Cabinet discusses recent cuts to public spending

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday discussed the most recent public spending figures, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, the council of ministers recommended additional measures to reduce expenditure and discussed the passenger transport law, which came into effect last week.
They decided to postpone raising passengers fees to the transportation fund until the Transport Ministry announces a plan for its projects and the finances needed.
