AMMAN — Following a Cabinet decision on October 28 to accredit only one public institution for examining goods, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri on Wednesday said that several meetings have been held with stakeholders concerning the issue.
Hammouri noted that the meetings have aimed to reconsider all items related to the targetted fees issued by multiple institutions, prior to making recommendations to remove duality, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a meeting with representatives of the commercial sector in Zarqa, Hammouri stressed the government’s keenness to support and enhance the sector’s role.
