Bulgarian first lady visits historical sites, embroidery centre in Amman

AMMAN — Bulgarian First Lady Desislava Radeva on Sunday visited the Amman Citadel and Al Karma Centre of the Jordan River Foundation (JRF), among other sites in the capital, as part of her tour around the city.
The first lady and accompanying delegation explored the various monuments around the city dating to different historical eras.
She also visited the JRF’s Al Karma Embroidery Centre in Jabal Al Natheef, where she was briefed on the stages of the production line for handicrafts and household accessories, made by Jordanian and Syrian refugee women from the local community.
For her part, the first lady expressed her admiration for the local women’s handicrafts and heritage products, where she talked with the Jordanians and Syrian women working at the centre.
