British geologists meet with DLS director

AMMAN — A delegation from the British Geological Survey Commission (BGSC) on Monday discussed means to exchange expertise and enhance cooperation with the Department of Land and Survey (DLS).
Members of the delegation were briefed by DLS Director Moeen Sayegh on the department’s mission and development plans, and the deployment of digital mapping technologies.
For their part, members of the BGSC presented a briefing on the commission’s consultation services and scientific studies.
