AMMAN — Bodybuilder Laith Samih Al Barri was killed in a road accident in Amman last Thursday along with his wife and three friends, an official said on Saturday.
The group was driving on the Airport Road, in south Amman, when they crashed into a cement barrier shortly after midnight, said Lt. Col. Yaser Habahbeh of the Central Traffic Department.
The car was driven by Barri’s friend Fares, whose wife and sister-in-law were also killed in the crash, Habahbeh told The Jordan Times.
The accident was a result of a wrongful turn, he added.
