Biltaji meets mayors of Naples, Nablus

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji on Monday stressed the importance of initiatives launched by cities in protecting residents’ human rights and enhancing democracy.
During a meeting with Naples Mayor Luigi de Magistris, Italian Ambassador to Jordan Patrizio Fondi and Nablus Mayor Ghassan Shakaa, Biltaji reiterated the importance for elected local administrations to adopt such initiatives to achieve local, regional and international peace and security.
Magistris praised the Greater Amman Municipality’s efforts in developing the capital and providing the best services for its residents.
