‘Bikers for peace in the Middle East’ make stop in Petra

AMMAN — Petra on Tuesday received participants in the “Bikers for Peace in the Middle East” initiative, who are passing through several neighbouring countries to spread the message to the world that Middle East countries, including Jordan, want peace and stability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The team, which includes well-known bicycle racers and journalists from several European countries, was received by the Emad Hijazeen, deputy chief commissioner of Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority and several senior officials representing the Jordan Tourism Board and other institutions, according to Petra.
