Bangladesh community in Jordan extends support to Al Rai’s Gaza relief campaign

AMMAN — Bangladesh community residing in Jordan on Tuesday made a donation to the Jordan Press Foundation (Al Rai) Campaign aimed at supporting Gaza. 

Mohammad Nour, Bangali investor, acting on behalf of the Bengali community in Jordan, personally delivered 550 brand new blankets that he donated from his business site in Al Hassan Industrial City.

Shehadeh Abu Baqar Al Rai Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed gratitude to the Bengali community and Mr. Nour for the gesture and for delivering the donation to Al Rai offices in Amman.  

Nour said that the donation is aimed at providing winter assistance to the children of Gaza, especially with the cold season approaching.

Al Rai on Thursday will commence the distribution of donations raised to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) where two trucks carrying medical aid will be delivered to JHCO’s warehouses and additional trucks loaded with food parcels, blankets, clothes and other in-kind aid will be dispatched next Sunday.
