Bahrain king to visit Jordan Monday

AMMAN — King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain will pay a visit to Jordan on Monday.

During the visit, he is scheduled to meet with His Majesty King Abdullah and discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

The two leaders will also discuss the latest regional developments.

Talks are expected to deal with the threat of extremism to the region, most notably the so-called Islamic State, which has seized large swathes of territory in eastern Syria and across northern and western Iraq.
