AMMAN — A Royal Badia Forces patrol on Saturday seized 59 palm-sized sheets of hashish from a vehicle in the Northern Badia, according to the Public Security Department.
The patrol was on a routine mission, when its personnel spotted a speeding vehicle and ordered it to stop, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The driver did not abide by instructions, forcing security personnel to chase the vehicle. Later, the patrol personnel found the vehicle abandoned. The vehicle turned out to be stolen.
A search of the car yielded the hashish, which was sent to the Anti-Narcotics Department for further investigation, Petra added.
