Army, Arab Potash Company sign security agreement

AMMAN — The Arab Potash Company (APC) on Thursday signed an agreement with Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) to secure vital facilities of the company, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The agreement was signed by the Commander of the Southern Military Region Brig. Gen. Hilal Khawaldeh on behalf of the JAF and APC Board Chairman Jamal Sarayrah.

This agreement is an extension of a previous agreement from the JAF to support the national economy and its contribution to the advancement of national development.

The signing ceremony was attended by the APC’s board of directors’ members and senior officers from the Southern Military Region.
