During the signing event, APC Board Chairman Jamal Sarayrah said that the mining company strives to support government institutions and civil society organisations to improve the quality of its services to local communities, as part of its policies and corporate social responsibility, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
He stressed that APC donated the equipment of Al Janoub Company to JAF to help rehabilitate and operate the company while promoting its investment so as to offer new job opportunities in cooperation with the private sector.
The chairman added that APC is keen on supporting JAF for the security and stability it provides to the country and its citizens.
Al Januob Filters Manufacturing Company is a public shareholding company which liquidated in 2015 after its losses and debts exceeded legal standards.
APC, the largest shareholder of the company, donated its share to the JAF to develop the company in cooperation with the Development and Employment Fund.
