Ambassador to Mexico attends global session on disaster risk reduction

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Jordan’s Ambassador to Mexico Ibrahim Obeidat on Wednesday participated in the 2017 Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, held in Cancun, Mexico between May 22 and 26.
The global platform aims at reaching sustainable solutions to risk reduction worldwide and increasing the capability in facing disasters, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Several policy makers and experts in disaster risk administration are taking part in the event.
