Agreements signed for job creation in Tafileh Industrial City

AMMAN — Deputising for Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and Minister of Labour Yousef Shamali, in the presence of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, attended the signing of 12 investment agreements aimed at providing job opportunities and stimulating business in Tafileh Industrial City.
Shamali said that the volume of investment as part of the 12 agreements is estimated at JD17 million, providing more than 400 job opportunities in their early stages.
The projects would include investment in the sectors of plastics and ceramics, sanitary paper, cables and others, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
