60,000 Captagon pills seized at Jaber border crossing

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department, in coordination with security forces and the Jordan Customs Department, seized 60,000 Captagon pills at the Jaber border crossing, the Public Security Directorate spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Suspicious of a container inside one of the crossing facilities, employees at the Jaber border crossing inspected cigarette packs only to find them stuffed with Captagon pills. The spokesperson added that an investigation is underway to apprehend those involved in the case.
