597 Syrian refugees enter Jordan on Saturday

MAFRAQ — The number of Syrian refugees in the Kingdom has reached 644,758 since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011, in addition to 597 refugees who crossed the border on Saturday, the Syrian refugees affairs directorate said Sunday.
The directorate said the new arrivals were taken to the Azraq camp, which now hosts 9,059 refugees, in Zarqa Governorate, and Zaatari camp in Mafraq, which hosts 85,186 refugees.
There are now about 99,200 refugees residing in camps.
