2021 Jordan's year of entrepreneurship — Hanandeh

AMMAN — The year 2021 will be Jordan's year of entrepreneurship based on the increasing number of Jordanian entrepreneurial companies, business incubators and startup accelerators, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh said on Tuesday.

In a statement by the Information Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j), cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Hanandeh stressed that the COVID pandemic has accelerated the process of digital transformation, making it a “critical” component in sustaining public health and business, in addition to its role in achieving social and economic stability.

Hanandeh noted that the ministry's support to the "TechAID" national initiative comes from its keenness to develop digital skills that are in demand under all circumstances, and more so during times of crises and emergencies.
