AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Thursday announced that work will resume in specialty clinics in comprehensive health centres and outpatient clinics in hospitals on Sunday, with the exception of Prince Hamzah Hospital, which is dedicated to treating and isolating coronavirus cases.
The ministry said that health cadres will provide full healthcare services, in addition to offering maternity and childhood services and premarital blood tests.
Prescriptions for chronic diseases will continue to be distributed through the online platform www.emed.hakeem.jo and according to the mechanism currently in place.
In order to alleviate stress on citizens, the ministry confirmed that it is considering launching a designated platform for making appointments for visits to specialty clinics.
It also called on citizens to comply with health and safety regulations, wear masks and commit to social distancing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
