Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Jordan participates in ‘Wayfarer Programme’ by Tikyet Um Ali

At an event organised by Tikyet Um Ali, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Jordan team participated in the Wayfarer programme in serving hot meals, for 400 wayfarers on Sunday, February 17.
The hotel’s participation comes to assist Tkiyet Um Ali’s in achieving its goals towards fighting hunger and playing a key role in achieving food security in Jordan.
The partnership is also meant to raise awareness to encourage creating partnerships with local and international players in both private and public sectors.
On this occasion Michael Nugent, vice president of operations, Levant & Pakistan, stated: “We are honoured to partner with the esteemed NGO Tkiyet Um Ali and support those less fortunate, by offering them the opportunity to reconnect over nutritious meals.”
All families supported by Tkiyet Um Ali live in extreme poverty with no source of income, as classified by set criteria and verified through field visits by the organisation, on a regular basis.
