AMMAN — The Native American dance ensemble “Native Pride Dancers” is in Jordan to present a number of performances and workshops in the Kingdom from Sunday to next Saturday, according to a US embassy statement.
The troupe, hosted by the embassy, will also perform at the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts at the North Theatre on Friday.
The ensemble is also scheduled to perform in Aqaba on Tuesday and in Karak on Wednesday, the statement said.
The company will hold workshops for youths in Karak, Aqaba and the capital.
The ensemble was formed in 2003 to educate and entertain audiences of all ages on the beauty and meaning of Native American culture, music and dance, according to the statement.
