National security project launched

AMMAN — General Intelligence Department Director Gen. Faisal Shobaki on Wednesday attended the launch of an initiative in support of the new national security information strategy.
The two-year project will be implemented by the NATO Science of Peace and Security programme in cooperation with a Jordanian team and entails the establishment of an information security incident response centre.
A number of diplomats, military attaches, officers and representative of NATO member countries attended the launch according to a statement sent to The Jordan Times.
