AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday visited the King Abdullah II Air Force Base.

The King was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and HRH Prince Feisal, according to a Royal Court statement.

The Monarch was briefed on the base’s duties and the technical specifications of its aircraft.

He also toured the base’s units and examined a number of reconnaissance planes, which were recently presented to the base.

The planes are equipped with an advanced arming combat system, the statement said.

The King voiced his satisfaction with the Royal Jordanian Air Force’s advanced level in implementing its missions and humanitarian duties.
