Jordanian Communist Party calls for unity against terrorism
By Petra - Sep 02,2014 - Last updated at Sep 02,2014
AMMAN — The Jordanian Communist Party (JCP) on Tuesday held a meeting with political parties, left-wing organisations and other progressive entities to discuss a unified response to regional conflicts.
The assembly agreed to work together “to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the people against terrorism and extremism in the region” and maintain the political and social values of the Kingdom.
In a statement earlier that day, the JCP stressed the importance of a national, united Arab front against aggression and called for a national conference with Palestinian parties to resolve differences and to reach a unified decision that promotes the achievements of the resistance.
