Jordan TV celebrates 47th anniversary

AMMAN — Jordan Radio and Television (JRTVC) Corporation celebrated the 47th anniversary of Jordan Television on Monday.
JRTVC Director General Ramadan Rawashdeh said Jordan Television has efficiently conveyed the Kingdom’s message and identity through its programmes since its launch in 1968, highlighting its achievements and the awards it received at Arab and global festivals.
In the early 1990s, after the launch of the satellite channel, Jordan Television focused more on the regional and international scene, and acted as a centre that provided other media institutions with qualified talents, Rawashdeh added, highlighting the qualitative leap in television work since its establishment.
