AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan on Tuesday said Jordan lost in air force pilot Muath Kasasbeh “one of its eagles” who did not turn back on his duty to fight attempts to “fragment” the nation.
In an interview with Jordan Television on Tuesday evening after the news of Kasasbeh’s murder at the hands of the so-called Islamic State group was announced, he underlined Jordanians’ commitment to honouring the country’s “pride”, noting that Jordan is deemed to hold the last hope for stability amidst a chaotic region.
The prince called on Jordanians to unify their ranks.
