AMMAN — Health Minister Ali Hiasat and his counterpart in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region Rekawt H. Rashid Karim signed a health protocol on Wednesday.

Hiasat also signed a protocol on cooperation between the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) and the health ministry in Kurdistan.

Hiasat and Karim said the cooperation is in line with their commitment to cement the brotherly relations between the people of Jordan and Kurdistan.

The two sides agreed on boosting cooperation and coordination at the highest levels to develop heath services in the Kurdistan region.
