AMMAN — The Ministry of Health will dispatch doctors to the Gaza Strip to assist hospitals in providing medical care to patients, Health Minister Abdul Latif Wreikat said on Monday during a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Hani Abdeen and an accompanying delegation.

Wreikat added that Jordan stands by the Palestinians against the Israeli aggression on Gaza and will contact Jordanian pharmaceutical companies to provide the strip’s needs of medical supplies.

He briefed the delegation on the Kingdom’s efforts in providing Gazans residing in Jordan with medical care, citing a Royal makruma to treat children under six years old, and cancer and kidney patients for free.
