AMMAN – Participants at a conference on health insurance that opened on Saturday called for reaching a formula that benefits insurance companies, healthcare providers and recipients alike.
They agreed that the “contradictory” statistics on the number of people covered by health insurance, duplication of health insurance and the high prices of chronic and cancer treatments are the main challenges facing the sector.
Organised by the Jordan Association for Medical Insurance, the two-day conference covers issues related to health insurance and laws governing the sector.
