Generations For Peace marks International Day of Peace

AMMAN — Generations For Peace delegates and pioneers on Sunday marked the International Day of Peace by adopting #TagForPeace across their social media platforms, according to a statement from the organisation.

HRH Prince Feisal, founder and chairman of Generations For Peace, said “the hard work our delegates, pioneers and young volunteers contribute all year round is inspirational.

Their online social media campaign to mark this International Day of Peace is just one of many displays of their true passion and commitment to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities experiencing different forms of conflict and violence around the world.”

The #TagForPeace digital campaign‎, which aims to raise awareness of the internationally recognised day, enables volunteers, media, friends and family to post messages of peace using the hashtag to develop a trend that will engage thousands of others.
