ZARQA — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, accompanied by a ministerial team, on Thursday checked on the difficulties facing Zarqa residents, especially in terms of infrastructure needs and environment problems.

During a field visit that covered several areas in the northern governorate, 22km east of Amman, the premier said the government will work to achieve social justice and ensure a fair distribution of development revenues.

At the Hitteen camp, the premier listened to the needs of residents and said the government will urge UNRWA not to cut back its education and health services.

The visit also covered Ruseifa, where Ensour was briefed on the problem of water supply disruption and pledged to resolve it.
