AMMAN — A Palestinian delegation on Sunday called on the Jordanian private sector to enhance the presence of Jordanian products in the Palestinian market as a substitute for Israeli goods.
During a visit to the Amman Chamber of Commerce, the delegation called for the establishment of investment partnerships to increase industrial and commercial exchange between the two countries.
Ghassan Khirfan, the chamber’s first deputy president, stressed the sector’s keenness to enhance relations with its Palestinian counterpart, noting that Jordanian exports to Palestine generated JD56 million in 2013, while Palestinian imports in the same year were estimated at JD35 million.
