Celebration to highlight situation of deaf community

AMMAN — Jordan on Sunday celebrates the deaf child’s week under the slogan “rights first”, the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities said Saturday.

The celebration aims at raising awareness on the situation of the deaf community in Jordan, as well as enabling deaf people to contribute to the social and economic development of society.
