ASEZA to open Wadi Rum office

AQABA — The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) on Thursday decided to open a liaison office in Wadi Rum.
The office will be run by the local community development directorate, in addition to five local community members, and will serve the Quweirah, Diseh and Rum districts.
ASEZA Chief Commissioner KamelMahadin said the directorate was tasked with holding interviews with Wadi Rum residents for 15 job opportunities.
Mahadin said infrastructure service projects worth JD200,000 are being implemented in the area and are scheduled for completion in November.
He added that another JD250,000 were allocated to develop water networks.
