AMMAN — The Amman Criminal Court convened on Sunday to continue examining the alleged corruption case known as the “casino file”.

Amjad Abdul Hadi, who worked with former prime minister Marouf Bakhit told the tribunal that he had not attended any sessions in which a casino was discussed.

Meanwhile, the defence attorney in the case filed against Jordanian Writers Association President Muwaffaq Mahadin and political analyst Sufian Al Tal on Sunday requested that the Amman Criminal Court uphold an earlier verdict that was overturned by the Court of Appeal, which cleared them from responsibility for any of the charges levelled against them.
