AMMAN — A total of 250,000 patients from abroad came to Jordan for treatment last year, an 8 per cent increase compared to 2012, according to Private Hospitals Association President Fawzi Hammouri.
Hammouri said the growing number of patients seeking treatment in Jordan is an “indicator of the growing demand on the private medical sector”, noting that Saudis constituted the majority of patients, followed by Iraqis, Libyans, Palestinians and Yemenis.
